Our clients range from professional athletes to children, desk workers to fireman, nurses to great grandparents. Everyone of whom is important to us and will receive the same care and attention.

Physiotherapy
At Arete Physiotherapy we pride ourselves on thoroughly assessing and diagnosing your injury as quickly as possible. This may sometimes involve onward for referral for testing and/or imaging. We use a range of scientifically proven treatment modalities, hands on techniques, dry needling, acupuncture and exercise prescription . You’ll feel the benefits of our longer appointment times.

Exercise Prescription
Whether your goals are to be a world class athlete, return to work, run around with your grandchildren or delay surgery we will work with you to provide a comprehensive exercise programme that works with your schedule to give you maximal results in minimal time. Our facilities include a well stocked gym with squat rack, free weights and functional equipment.

Prehabilitation
Prehabilitation is improving your function before you sustain an injury. It includes a biomechanical assessment to determine your injury risk based on your activities, age and current function. We then set a plan with you to prevent potential injuries.
Pilates Reformer
A reformer is a piece of Pilates equipment that has fantastic versatility for providing strength and mobility exercises for every part of the body. The reformer consists of a moving carriage with adjustable spring tension, a bar and straps, plus other additions which can be used to lengthen and strengthen throughout the body.
Individualised, tailor made programs are possible with a 1 hour in-depth assessment, then one-on-one sessions on the reformer, and are a fantastic adjunct to strength and conditioning sessions.
